Eligibility

Any girl who has finished kindergarten, but has not yet started college (Generally, ages 5-17, but will accept those with developmental disabilities up to age 21). Service area in Ohio includes the following counties: Allen, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Defiance, Fulton, Greene, Hamilton, Hancock, Hardin, Henry, Logan, Lucas, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Ottawa, Preble, Paulding, Putnam, Shelby, Van Wert, Warren, Williams, and Wood.

Required documents

Completed registration form, parental consent, recent physical signed off by a physician.

Hours

Camp dates and session lengths vary. Varies by regional office. Generally, camps are scheduled in the months of June, July, and August.

Application process

Phone Service Center for information or to request registration forms be sent via mail - September 1st through May 31st - Tuesday and Thursday: 11:00am-1:30pm and 2:00pm-6:00pm; Wednesday: 11:00am-1:30pm and 2:00pm-7:00pm; Friday: 11:00am-1:30pm and 2:00pm-5:00pm; 2nd Saturday: 9:00am-12:00noon. Fees

Fixed fee. Non-members pay additional registration fee. Scholarships/financial aid available.

Description

Provides a variety of structured, supervised overnight summer camping programs that feature recreational and educational activities such as swimming, boating, horseback riding, arts and crafts, natural science, and wilderness survival.
