Eligibility

Children infant-3 years old, and found to have a delay in at least one of five areas of development (adaptive, social-emotional, cognitive, gross and fine motor, or receptive and expressive communication), or have a medical diagnosis that can lead to a delay in development, and their families.

Description

Offers home visiting and early intervention programs for at-risk infants and children. Works with pregnant mothers to teach proper prenatal care so they will have a better chance of delivering a healthy child. Educates parents about immunizations, what to look for developmentally as their child grows, making a home safe for children, community linkage and how parents play a role in helping their child become ready for learning.
