The Tipp City Fire Department and EMS provides fire services, consisting of preventing, investigating, controlling and extinguishing fires. Included are fire safety education, firefighting, investigating the causes of suspicious fires, and enforcing fire codes and property from fires and explosions arising from the storage, handling and use of hazardous substances, materials and devices, or from conditions hazardous to life and property in the use or occupancy of buildings or other premises.

The Department operates solely out of the Fire and EMS Station at the intersection of Main and Hyatt Streets, and serves all of Tipp City and Monroe Township. They promote fire safety education to area schools, community groups, and businesses, and perform fire inspections for businesses. Tipp City Fire is the first responders in the City and Monroe Township for all hazards.
