Income tax is paid by all persons 18 years of age or older who are residents of, or are employed within, the City of Green. The tax also applies to the net profits of corporations, partnerships, and businesses within Green.

Application process

City of Green income tax returns can be filed and paid: - In person at the City of Green Tax Division. - Drop-off box located on the side of the building facing the parking lot, near the electric vehicle chargers. - Mailed to City of Green, Income Tax Division, PO Box 460 Green, Ohio 44232-0460.

Fees

Beginning with tax year 2004, the City of Green tax rate is 2%. A credit of up to 2% will be allowed for taxes paid by Green residents on income earned in another municipality.
