Eligibility

- Serves residents of Summit County. - Must work at least 20 hours per week at intake and ongoing. - Must be at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level. - Must have experienced a reduction in public benefit assistance (such as a reduction in SNAP benefits or child care benefits) due to increased wages.

Include legal name, home address, and the last four (4) digits of your Social Security number. Using this information provided via email, NEXT staff will pre-screen for initial enrollment requirements. Those that may be eligible per this pre-screening will be provided with a link to complete the online NEXT program application.

Description

Provides success coaching, financial coaching, and peer mentoring to support continued employment for individuals who experience a reduction in public assistance due to increase of income. Offers work supports such as job clothing/tools, help with transportation, and may assist with emergencies regarding child care issues and housing. Requires a time commitment of approximately our (4) hours per month and provides up to $5,000 in cash incentives for achieving mandatory and optional goals.
