Provides guidance on land use decisions. The major functions performed include: Processing zoning changes, special use permits, site plan reviews, overlay district reviews, street and alley vacations, preliminary and final plats and deed transfers Preparation of comprehensive neighborhood, district, corridor and township plans to ensure the orderly development and redevelopment of areas Working with developers and design professionals on residential and commercial development projects Providing staff support for the City’s local historic districts Providing zoning, subdivision and planning services to Lucas County townships
