Potential adoptive parents must:

  • have an income sufficient to meet the family's needs
  • be in good physical and mental health
  • meet requirements for housing safety and space

Description

Provides child-placing services for Kentucky families by assessing the needs of children eligible for adoption, compiling their social and medical histories, and evaluating and selecting prospective adoptive applicants. Also assists foster parents/families with adopting the children already in their care when appropriate.
