Eligibility

Gross income must meet guidelines set by this agency (phone for more information). Must have sufficient rental payment history and an acceptable credit history. Cannot have any felony convictions in the past 5 years or any evictions in the past 2 years. Applicant must be age 18 or older. There are no residency restrictions.

Required documents

Will need the following pieces of documentation sent via docusign, online, or in person: birth certificate, Social Security card, photo identification, proof of income in the form of 3-4 pay stubs, a recent utility bill (if applicable) and a county and city sheriff's report from the Justice Center in your name. An application needs to be completed by every member of the household 18 years of age and older.

Application process

Phone or walk in for information on available homes. Information is also available through the website.

Fees

$50.00 application fee per first adult, $25.00 for each additional adult. Rental payment and security deposit are required. Will accept Section 8 vouchers.

Provides homes (new construction or re-hab) that are available for lease/purchase to low-income families. Length of time required to lease before buying varies based on how long this agency has owned the home. It may be up to 15 years. Lease-purchasers are required to handle routine home maintenance.
