Eligibility

Must be a Franklin County resident and have child under the age of three and suspected of a developmental delay or disability. Eligibility is determined through a screening process. Once determined eligible, families may have the option to choose YAS as their service coordination provider.

Description

Part of a statewide system, the Franklin County Early Intervention program provides coordinated early intervention services to parents of eligible children under the age of three with developmental delays or disabilities. This early childhood program builds upon and provides supports and resources to assist parents and caregivers to enhance children’s learning and development through everyday routines. It is a collaborative, home and community-based system where caregivers and a team of specialized professionals work together to provide ongoing support to the child.
