Eligibility

- Must be an honorably discharged Veteran with at least 90 days of active military service beyond training. - Dependents of Veterans may also apply. - Must reside in Medina County for three (3) months immediately prior to application for financial assistance. - Eligibility of assistance given varies and is based on total net household income and size of family. - Assistance in either food, housing and utility payment are each available three (3) times per year per household.

Required documents

- Copy of DD214. - Proof of 3-month's residency such as utility bill, rental agreement, or mortgage statement. - Proof of household income for last 30 days. - Current checking and saving account statement. - Marriage certificate (if applicable). - Birth certificates and Social Security number for dependent children.
