Go to Web site anytime for disaster preparedness information, publications, flood zone determination and information regarding courses and training. May phone to order publications M-F: 8:30am-4:00pm. To order flood maps, phone the FEMA Map Service Center M-F: 8:00am-6:00pm. To request map changes phone the FEMA Map Assistance Center M-F: 8:00am-6:30pm.

Description

Provides disaster preparedness information including printed guides and other materials. Topics covered include, but not limited to, floods and flood insurance, chemical leaks/spills, dam failure, earthquakes, hazardous materials, heat, hurricanes, nuclear power plan emergencies, terrorism, tornadoes, wildfire, winter storms, and general disasters. Offers flood maps and handles requests for map changes. Also provides information about the flood risk of a property. Also offers resources for teachers and parents.
