Eligibility

Open to children that are or will be ages 3-4 by September 30th of the upcoming school year. Participants must have a household income up to or less than 100% of the federal poverty guidelines. Children experiencing homelessness, children in foster care, and families who receive SNAP are always eligible to enroll.

Description

Offers a comprehensive early childhood education program for children in economically disadvantaged families. The program includes kindergarten readiness learning experiences, speech, language, and hearing screenings, vision and dental checks, snacks and meals, and parent involvement opportunities. Children may attend a Head Start Center, or participate in a home-based option and receive weekly home visits.
