Eligibility

Serves Cuyahoga County. Older adults age 62 yrs or older as well as developmentally disabled individuals age 50 yrs or older. Will accept those with mild to moderate cognitive impairments (including Dementia) and people with mobility problems, provided their physical care does not exceed the level that can be provided by staff.

Application process

Phone for information, M-F: 8:00am-5:00pm. Will be directed to the Adult Day Program Director who will help conduct the enrollment/intake process. Phone for more information about exact transportation boundaries.

Fees

Accepts various third-party payments (Passport, Options, Board of Developmental Disabilities, Veterans Affairs, Long-term care insurance, etc.) and certain individuals may qualify for a sliding-scale fee structure. If not qualified for sliding-fee or third-party payment, there is a fixed fee for services.

Description

Provides adult day program. Activities include arts and crafts, therapeutic programs, and socialization opportunities and are geared for those who need supervision and whose families need respite. Offers secure environment, two hot meals per day, beauty shop, Catholic mass, wellness center and other offerings.

Jennings Center For Older Adults

Functions as a continuum of care campus for older adults. Provides adult day services, assisted living, long-term nursing home care, senior apartments, skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation, and a variety of other programming for seniors. A wellness center, on site chapel, pastoral care, intergenerational programming and other amenities are available for residents and others who utilize the services.
