Application process
For general information, phone Division of Animal Control M-F: 7:30am-3:00pm. If the situation is an emergency or if after-hours, phone the Police Dept. non-emergency line. Those who suspect that their pet has been poisoned should call their vetrinarian as well as calling Animal Control.

Description
Provides animal control, animal lost and found assistance, and animal poison information (in cases where the client suspects that someone is putting out poison for their pet). Will investigate complaints of cruelty to animals, and attempt to rescue domestic animals. Maintains an animal kennel which houses stray domestic animals for a short period. Does not trap healthy wild animals, but will respond to reports of sick or injured animals or if a wild animal has entered a living space.
