Description

Provides student-centered instruction in Life Skills English with a focus on grammar, reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Integrates health education, civics, and financial literacy through the New American ESOL program. Classes taught by volunteer and/or staff instructors for Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced levels.

Serves as the refugee resettlement program for Summit County and outlying areas. Offers airport pickup, case management, and initial financial assistance with a goal of rapid self-sufficiency. Provides immigration counseling, translating and interpreting services, and English for Speakers of Other Languages. Serves as the primary local resource for immigration matters.
