Eligibility

Open to children 6 weeks to 3 years of age whose family household income is up to or less than 100% of the federal poverty guidelines. Children experiencing homelessness, children in foster care, and families who receive SNAP are always eligible to enroll.

Application process

Complete online pre-application. After submission, applicants will be contacted to review the application in person or over the phone and provide required documentation.

Description

Offers a comprehensive early childhood education program for qualifying households. The program includes preschool readiness learning experiences, fieldtrips, select health screenings, parent involvement opportunities, and more. Children may attend a Head Start Center, or participate in a home-based option and receive weekly home visits.
