Walk In Voting Before Election Day; Early Voting; Walk In Absentee Voting | Geauga County Board Of Elections

Must be a Geauga County resident, registered 30 days before an election, aged 18 on or before the day of the general election and not currently incarcerated for a felony. Voters who have moved since they last voted must register their new address 30 days before an election. Must be a resident of Ohio for at least 30 consecutive days immediately before the election in which they want to vote. College students living in Ohio and registered to vote by the deadline may vote using whichever address the student considers his or her permanent residence at the time of voting. Ex-offenders who were convicted of felonies and who re-registered to vote following their release from prison are eligible to vote. 17 year-olds who meet the above criteria may vote in a primary for candidates only.

Documents are listed on the ballot but will need either the last four digits of Social Security number or an Ohio Driver License/State ID number (on left of card, starting with 2 letters).Mailings from the county Board of Elections are not acceptable forms of identification.

General office hours are M-F: 8:00am-4:30pm. Early voting is usually open 30 days preceeding the Sunday before the general election.
