Eligibility

- Serves individuals incarcerated in correctional centers in Northeast Ohio. - To volunteer, must be an adult residing in Summit County. Must pass a background check.

Required documents

Volunteers must fill out waiver for background check and have valid State of Ohio ID or driver's license.

Hours

Service and training hours vary. Accepts calls Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Description

Provide visitation by Chaplains and volunteers and mentoring services to individuals incarcerated in correctional facilities in Northeast Ohio. Offers the 6-week Christian-based Broken Chains Discipleship Series on an individual basis. Includes topics such as repentance, restitution, submission to authorities, accountability, and developing a new mind set through Biblical precepts.
