Assists consumers with selecting a long term care facility by providing information about the characteristics and types of services that are provided by facilities. Does not recommend or rate facilities but can provide the rating that Medicare gives facilities. Helps consumers identify long-term care facilities that match the individual's needs and choices. Information available includes: verified complaints that were handled by the agency and deficiencies cited by the state department of health.
