Generally runs each summer from May through August at the following locations: Summit Lake Bike Shop: Monday and Wednesday: 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Kenmore Bike Shop: Thursday and Saturday: 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Description

Provides an opportunity for youth and adults to learn how to do bike repairs, earn a bike, helmet, and lock through service to the community and peers at the shop. Engages youth and adults by providing access to a variety of cycling events, activities, and rides. Provides access to shareable bikes at through various partners at community events.

Offers youth programming and community engagement to residents of Akron's Summit Lake and South Akron neighborhoods. Operates a community gathering place known as the Front Porch that is an alternative to the streets and bars. Note: Part of the Youth Success Summit (formerly OSTN).
