Eligibility

Adults age 18 or older in Cuyahoga County. Will detox from alcohol, opioids (either IV heroin drug use or pills) and benzodiazepines.

Required documents

Photo ID (preferred): also accepts a birth certificate or Social Security card as identification. Mental health medications required for those who have a dual diagnosis of mental illness and substance abuse.

Hours

24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. Length of stay is dependent upon primary drug of use.

Fees

Medicaid insurance preferred. No one will be turned away due to inability to pay.

Operates an inpatient detoxification program for alcohol and/or drug abusers. Care is administered by licensed physicians and registered nurses. Service includes testing for tuberculosis and an alcohol/drug assessment. Refers to treatment once detoxification is complete.
