Eligibility

Serves fathers ages 18 or older who are unemployed or underemployed and are interested in a career in construction trades. Must be a Cuyahoga County resident, have minimum of a high school diploma or GED, no current criminal charges pending.

Required documents

Photo I.D. Proof of high school diploma/GED. Will eventually need child's social security card, birth certificate OR child support letter.

Hours

M-Th: 10:00am-2:00pm for workshop study with occasional extended hours for certification purposes.

Application process

Phone for intake screening M-F: 9:00am-5:00pm. If intake screening results in eligibility for the program, will be invited to attend an orientation.

Fees

No charges for those who apply and qualify for the construction trades training scholarship
