Call the office or visit the website for more information Making a Payment: - Online payments and automatic monthly payments via ACH accepted. - Payments can be mailed to PO Box 470, Amherst, OH 44001 or made in person at the office during regular business hours. - Accepts payments at drive-up window on the west side of the building that is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. - Payments may be dropped off in the locked drop box on the east side of the building 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please do not place cash in the drop box. - Payments accepted at Discount Drug Mart (Amherst location only).

Description
Operates the city water and sewer departments for the city of Amherst. Bills water, sewer, and electric. Monitors water quality; reads meters; repairs water service lines, main lines, meters and hydrants. Provides residential and commercial water taps, manages the water tower and protects the resident’s overall water quality. Monitors sewage collection and flow, repairs and maintain sewer lines, monitors and maintains lift stations, and facilitates municipal sewage removal.
