Description

Deliver free non-perishable food items to Trumbull County residents age 60 or older or disabled under 60 who are low income and homebound. Grocery deliveries are made twice a month for free.

Scope Senior Services

Provide senior adults with daily recreational activities, educational events, lunch, socialization, and fitness programs. Supportive services division for Trumbull’s retired and elderly population provides social work and counseling, a traveling food pantry and grocery deliveries to homebound seniors, prescription assistance and Medicaid/Medicare counsel, emergency assistance program, and free income tax assistance through AARP during the months of February through April each year. Operate six senior centers throughout Trumbull County in Cortland, Hartville, Howland, Newton Falls, Niles, and Warren.
