Description
Offers a voluntary, specialized treatment court in which offenders with chemical dependency and addictions who have been arrested for a felony can regain control of their lives. Focuses on addiction, recovery and accountability as an alternative to incarceration. Provides the following support services as part of the multi-month voluntary program: - Drug and alcohol abuse assessment. - Detoxification, outpatient and residential substance abuse treatment, and medication assisted treatment. - Employment and life skills. - Counseling, training, and referrals. - Education and literacy assistance. - Health care services. - HIV testing and counseling. - Drug testing and counseling. - Drug testing services. - Housing and other social services. - Trauma informed care. - Co-occurring mental health treatment. - Peer support.
