Open to customers who:

  • are current on their payments (no outstanding balance or unpaid payment arrangements)
  • have at least 10 months of electric usage history through Kentucky Utilities Company at their current residence
  • have not been enrolled in the budgeting plan within the last 12 months
  • use 150 kWh of energy or more

Description

Offers a levelized payment plan that spreads the cost of heating and cooling over the whole year. The utility company calculates a customer's monthly bill based on a rolling 12-month average of the customer's previous bills, meaning customers receive bills for similar amounts during peak heating and cooling months and during off-peak months.
