- Serves eligible Lorain-Medina Rural Electric Cooperative customers with severe health problems who have received a disconnect notice or have had electricity disconnected. - Limit of three (3) medical certificates per household, per rolling 12 months.

Description

Provides a program that delays an electric service shutoff for 30 days when it would be life-threatening or especially dangerous to the health of a permanent member of the household. The program allows a customer to make payment arrangements or get financial help. It does not reduce the amount owed.
