Serves the residents of Shaker Heights. For Smoke Detectors: Permit the Fire Department to install the smoke detectors; Not have an automatic, monitored alarm system. Mobile fire safety house: for children's groups, schools, etc.

Phone for information. Smoke Detectors: may complete a request form online or call the smoke detector hotline. Note: Smoke detector program ends in August 2019 or when the supply of detectors is exhausted (which could occur at any moment).

Description

Provides fire prevention and protection services for the City of Shaker Heights. Offers a CO detector for loan, and provides photoelectric smoke detectors. Will speak about fire prevention and safety, assist with fire escape planning, and conduct a home safety assessment. Provides fire safety education through the use of a mobile fire safety house.
