Eligibility

Must be a Cleveland resident. Household must be at 200% or less of federal poverty level, HWAP Eligible and/or LIHEAP Eligible per State of Ohio Standards. All homes must be occupied by low-income homeowners only. Rental properties are not eligible for plumbing repair services but they can receive water kits.

Required documents

Completed application, proof of income, all utility bills, and proof of home ownership (gas and/or electric bill).

Application process

Please note: this is not an emergency program. Applications are approved on a first come first serve basis, there is currently a 6 to 9 month wait time. May download application from website, pick one up at suite 134 (at main site), or contact the mainline and request one to be mailed. This is a NEORSD program administered by CHN - callers should use the "Home Energy Efficiency Services" application. Must mail, fax, or drop off (near suite 134) completed application. Once the application is returned, it will take 2-3 weeks to determine eligibility. Approved applicants will receive a letter with services they are approved for and approximate wait times.

Provides repairs that are necessary to the proper function of the main sewer system which includes the repair/replacement of broken sewer lines, installing Test Tees, snaking or jetting of the sewer.
