Eligibility

Open to those who live in Cuyahoga County, are age 18 or older, and have the dual diagnosis of mental illness and substance abuse.

Required documents

Will be assisted by referring agency.

Hours

24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. Typical stay is about nine months.

Application process

Admission is by referral from county mental health board only. Call to find out which form to use when referring.

Fees

Resident pays 73% of income (which also pays for food).

Description

Provides residential services for those with diagnoses of both mental illness and substance abuse. Includes medication management, group and individual therapy, instruction in living skills. Clients are assigned to services suitable for their stage of illness. Capacity of the facility is 8 beds. They attend many therapy sessions and 12-step meetings. Near the end of stay, may be able to start work outside the agency.
