Eligibility

Open to any veteran or service member of the United States Armed Forces.

Required documents

Proof of service: DD-214 (discharge status) or Veterans Affairs (VA) card. Agency will advise on any additional required documents.

Description

Provides a program to help recently-discharged veterans make a successful transition from military life to civilian life. The program is peer-guided in connecting transitioning service members to community-specific resources at their desired location. While being involved in this program veterans are able to request monetary assistance with housing, utilities, food, and clothing.
