Eligibility

Eligibility requirements vary by type of assistance. For most programs applicants must meet the following requirements: - Summit County resident. - Family with at least one (1) minor child in the household or a pregnant individual. NOTE: A minor is defined as 17 years old and under. An 18 year old is considered a minor as long as the parent can provide documentation that the 18 year old is still enrolled in high school/secondary school. - Household income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. - Other criteria may apply including employment status, age/disability, Department of Job and Family Services sanctions, economic need, and participation in other assistance programs.

Call 2-1-1 for referrals. 2-1-1 serves as the entry point for PRC services. PRC funding is administered to agencies throughout Summit County and services available through PRC funding vary.
