Eligibility

Must be discharged veteran, Montgomery County Veterans who have lost their source of income due to their employers having to close/reduce their business hours due to COVID-19 may be eligible for emergency relief assistance. May be eligible up to 1,000.00 towards assistance.

Description

Provides emergency financial assistance to Montgomery County resident veterans who qualify and establish a bona fide need for the following assistance: utilities (electric, gas and water) food (foodbank) mortgage or rent payment and burial benefits. Veterans may be able to receive up to $1,000 to go towards their insurance deductible for the tornado assistance.
