Must be referred to the program by the Summit County Court of Common Pleas. Qualifying low-income probationers who have been fully compliant with their terms of probation, may make a written request to be permitted to pay off their court cost and fees by working community service hours.

Oversees the placement in selected community non-profit and governmental agencies of individuals who have been convicted of an offense and sentenced by the courts to perform unpaid work in the community in lieu of or in addition to incarceration, fines, restitution, or other sanctions.
