Eligibility

Children served typically have emotional or behavioral problems which may cause academic problems and have a history of not responding to traditional treatment.

Required documents

For initial assessment please bring insurance or Medicaid card, Child's Social Security card, proof of monthly or annual income, Ohio Driver License/State ID and custody papers (if applicable).

Description

Offers a therapeutic school age program for children who have exhausted all other educational alternatives. Works with children who are having problems in school due to severe behavioral challenges and their parents or caregivers to help children return to a regular school setting. Assists children and their families learn to manage behaviors, so they are able to positively function at school, home and in the community.
