Description

Assures that every parcel of land and the buildings thereon are fairly and uniformly appraised, then assessed for tax purposes. Also handles complaints and disputes over property valuation. Will provide forms and information for schools, churches, charities, and other public-use facilities applying to become exempt from property taxes, but applications must be filed with the State Department of Taxation, not the County Auditor.
