Eligibility

- Household income at or below 175 percent of the federal poverty guidelines - Both homeowners and renters are eligible for assistance - Are threatened with disconnection or have already been disconnected or need service established - Have less than a 25% supply of bulk fuel

Required documents

- Proof of all income for the previous 30 days. (Includes Wages, Self-employment, Odd Jobs, Social Security, SSI,Unemployment, Seasonal, Wages) - BOTH electric and gas bills. - Proof of disability (if applicable) • Social Security cards and birthdates of ALL members in the household • Health Insurance Premiums paid or Child Support paid

Description

Provides the winter heating crisis program to help income eligible Ohio residents meet the high costs of home heating. Eligible consumers receive financial assistance toward the payment of their heating bill and assistance with gas bills. Also has assistance available to assist with furnace repairs or replacements.
