Call the office for more information. An original certificate of indigency form must be completed by the next of kin, or if not available, the most knowledgeable individual concerning the affairs of the deceased.

Description
Provides funding for professional services rendered by funeral directors to prepare indigent city residents for burial. Amounts to be paid toward services include $800 for an adult, $550 for a child 12 and under, or $150 for a still birth. Additional funding may also be able to pay for a stone or concrete marker on which the person's name, age, and date of death will be inscribed.
