If referral is NOT by child's parent (physician, or an interested other such as a neighbor, teacher, friend or child), agency must speak to the child's parent before scheduling service. Organization coordinates a volunteer "wish team" that meets with a family to determine the child's wish. The "wish team" presents the request to the board of directors for approval.
