Eligibility

Homeowners age 18 or older who are behind on their mortgage payments or are in foreclosure. Must be the homeowner's primary residence (both single and multi-family homes are acceptable - up to 4 units). There is no income restriction for this program.

Staff will discuss any required documents at the time of intake.

Description

Provides mortgage foreclosure counseling to help clients address their current or impending mortgage foreclosure situation. Advocates on behalf of the client with mortgage holders and other creditors. Provides information on budgeting and credit issues, available community resources, and options one might have when facing foreclosure.
