Eligibility

Must reside in Geauga County. Client can only receive service from one Geauga Hunger Task Force (GHTF) pantry once per month (however, clients who go to a GHTF pantry may also use the once-a-month mobile pantry).

Required documents

Photo ID: driver's license or state ID birth certificate will be accepted, date of birth of all family members receiving services. Those picking up food for someone else will need a Proxy form. On first visit, clients are registered in a database, after that, additional documents should not be required.

Hours

Regular pantry distribution: M: 11:00am-12:30pm Tu: 6:00pm-7:00pm W: 3:00pm-4:00pm Th: 3:30pm-5:00pm F: 10:00am-11:30am Sa: 9:30am-11:00am. Mobile produce distribution is on the fourth Tuesday of the month: 4:00pm-6:00pm (directly before the regular pantry distribution). HOLIDAY EXCEPTION: in November, this takes place on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving in December, this takes place on the Tuesday before Christmas). Always closed December 24th and 25th (Christmas Eve and Day) December 31st and January 1st (New Years Eve and Day).

Application process

Walk in for service during hours of service. Clients who are disabled may send a representative in their place using a proxy form.

Provides up to a 3-7 day supply of groceries (proteins, canned and dry foods) packed according to family size. Toiletries and cleaning products may be provided. Also provides a monthly mobile produce distribution.
