Eligibility

Targets those who meet the following criteria: an Ohio inmate; the inmate claims actual innocence of the convictions (the inmate did not contribute in any way to the commission of the offense). In most cases, the inmate should be serving a lengthy prison sentence because the appeals process can take 5-10 years or longer (however, may be able to help those with shorter sentences on a case-by-case basis). Must have exhausted the legal process.

Application process

Application must be mailed from the inmate (not from friends or family). May write a letter requesting application form which will need to be filled out completely and then mailed back in. Application is also available to be printed from website. May phone for information, if needed.
