Residents of Allen, Auglaize, or Mercer Counties, under 175% of Federal Poverty Guidelines, have a household member age 60 or older, or have a physician documentation that cooling assistance is needed for a household member's health.

Verification of past 30 days of income (12 months is preferred), Social Security Numbers of all in household, utility bills and verification of birth for all household members

Description

The Home Energy Assistance Summer Crisis Program (HEAP Summer Crisis Program), assists eligible applicants with a fan one time every three years to prevent undue health risks during the summer season to those who qualify, from July 1st - September 30 only.
