Eligibility

Full time and some part time employees that meet employment and other requirements established by the employer. Loans are available only to employees of Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Museum of Art, and Judson at University Circle and are available to purchase homes in the area known as Greater University Circle, which includes city of Cleveland neighborhoods of University Circle, Hough, Glenville, Little Italy, Fairfax, and Buckeye/Shaker, and a small portion of East Cleveland. The area is defined by East 79th Street on the west, Superior Avenue to the north, the Cleveland city line to the east, and Buckeye-Woodland to the south. One and two unit properties are eligible. Multi-unit (three or more) are not eligible.Those who have received rent assistance from this program at least 12 months ago are eligible to apply for this program.

Complete inquiry form on web site. Call M-F: 9:00am-5:00pm to get an application and to make an appointment to review application. Funds are provided on a first-come, first served basis after all required documentation has been submitted.

Fees

Free to apply. Loan is forgiven (free) if borrower stays in the residence for 60 months (five years) after the loan has closed and if borrower continues to work for their employer.
