Eligibility

Women 18 and older. Focuses on women with a newborn up through 1 year, and women struggling with the emotional impact of child-raising.

Required documents

Health insurance card (if applicable) proof of income (such as W-2, pay stub, etc.), proof of residency, photo I.D., social security card.

Hours

Most services M-F: 8:30am-5:00pm group counseling varies, but held during day and evening hours.

Application process

Phone for information and intake: M-F: 8:30am-5:00pm or phone after-hours and leave a message and the call will be returned. A full intake and diagnostic assessment will be scheduled. After the assessment, client will receive appropriate treatment and support. Child care may be provided.

Fees

Sliding fee scale for uninsured residents of Cuyahoga County. Third party payment accepted: Medicaid, Medicare/Medicaid, and most private insurers as well as Ryan White Part A grant funds.

Description

Provides assessment, psychiatric services, and individual and group counseling for women who are experiencing depression, especially those dealing with postpartum depression or depression during pregnancy or after the birth of a new baby.

Offers specialized recovery programs to complement clinical care for building effective skills for healthy living and self-sufficiency, and resiliency. Also provides community outreach, presentations for community groups, Mental Health First Aid trainng for groups and organizations.
