Eligibility
Open to residents of Brown County who:
- are currently receiving any type of income assistance (WIC, Medicaid, SSI, SNAP, SSDI, Unemployment, or TANF/Ohio Works First) or
- have an annual household income at or below $29,000

Application process
Applicants must make a spay/neuter appointment for their pet(s) with the vet of their choice and confirm that the vet will accept a voucher prior to applying. Voucher applications must be submitted at least 10 working days prior to the scheduled appointment. Applications may be submitted online, by mail, or email. A separate application must be submitted for each pet.
Fees
No fee to apply. Voucher(s) provided will likely cover only a portion of the spay/neuter surgery cost. Pet owners are responsible for any additional expenses associated with their pets' office visit and surgery that is not covered by the voucher.
