Contact by phone to speak to a DOVE nurse or schedule an exam. Outside of office hours, visit any St. Elizabeth Emergency Department in person.

Description

Offers confidential, free, forensic examinations conducted by a nurse who is specially trained in providing care to survivors of domestic/intimate partner violence. Examinations may include documenting a history of physical/psychological abuse, assessing and documenting current injuries, and collecting forensic evidence. Nurses also provide guidance to further sources of physical, psychological, and legal assistance.
