Eligibility

Open to: 

  • Individuals who are currently pregnant, post-partum up to 6 months, or breastfeeding up to 1 year.
  • Fathers, grandparents, and other caregivers may also apply on behalf of a child up to 5 years old.
  • Applicants must also meet income eligibility guidelines.

Description

Provides nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and supplemental food to eligible women, infants, and children. Participants can shop for WIC foods, such as formula, dairy products, whole grains or fruits and vegetables, at most grocery stores using a WIC electronic transfer benefit (EBT) card.
