Eligibility

To be eligible to provide foster care, individuals must:

  • be age 18 or older
  • rent or own a living space with two or more bedrooms
  • receive sufficient income to meet all household needs

Application process

Contact by phone to express interest. Then, the following steps must be taken, in order: complete 24 hours of pre-service training, complete application, complete background check and provide documentation, and complete a home study.

Description

Recruits and trains households to provide foster care services to children in Hamilton, Butler and Warren Counties. Assists foster parents in adopting children placed in their care when appropriate.
