The Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) provides rental assistance to very low income families, allowing them the opportunity to live in decent, safe, and affordable housing. HCV Programs are funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and administered by public housing agencies throughout the country. The Knox Metropolitan Housing Authority (KMHA) administers the HCVP Program in Knox County.

Investigates suspected cases of abuse, neglect, and/or exploitation of Preble County residents ages 60 and up. Also provides case management and community collaboration to alleviate the alleged abuse, neglect, and/or exploitation.

Provides a legal clinic at Juvenile Court for those seeking assistance in filling out the pro se or do-it-yourself forms from the Clerk's office. The forms range from grandparents seeking custody or visitation, parents trying to establish custody, visitation or paternity, among other issues. Legal assistance IS NOT PROVIDED with divorce cases or custody cases resulting from divorce.

Provides support to those navigating the refugee/immigration process such as helping clients with filling out and submitting documents related to their refugee status and/or immigration case (such as applying for green cards, various immigration papers, and/or travel documents). Gives advice on test preparation, what to expect during the process, and what questions to expect during interviews with government officials.
